JOB OVERVIEW

Responsible for timely and accurate recording of transactions that impact shipping, receiving and inventory processes or records. Prepares, loads, and unloads finished goods/raw materials for delivery to customers and/or inter-company transfers, including incoming deliveries for raw material inventory. Prepares shipping and receiving documentation and performs additional miscellaneous clerical/administrative duties to ensure efficient warehouse operations and timely, quality-driven delivery of product to customers.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Process all transactions for incoming, outgoing and transferred materials/products.
  • Must be capable of safely operating and be certified to drive a forklift to load outbound and unload inbound products.
  • Prepare shipping/receiving documentation; be able to prepare materials with proper packaging, labeling, MSDS, marks, etc. for all incoming and outgoing products.
  • Maintain receiving records to account for all received goods and materials. Responsible for preparing customer sales orders for shipping per company policy; preparing and processing shipping documentation on a timely and accurate basis.

JOB OVERVIEW

Colorbiotics is seeking a professional like you to support the day-to-day production operations at our facility in Ames, IA. Colorbiotics is the world leader in landscape coatings, which includes the mulch, rubber and concrete markets. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Operate various mixing, filling and packaging equipment including liquid filling machines, bulk powder blenders, induction mixers and pumps.
  • Follow mix ticket instructions to accurately weigh and add raw materials to batches.
  • Follow instructions on fill tickets when packaging product.
  • Observe machine operations to ensure quality and conformity of filled or packaged products, completing all finished good quality checks as required on batch ticket.
  • Assist, and when necessary, lead fellow operators.
  • Record necessary data on all batch tickets.
  • Comply with all safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment at all times.
  • Continually maintain plant and work environment for cleanliness and organization.
  • Operate forklifts as required (certification course required – we will train).

JOB OVERVIEW

Coordinates the work activities of employees on shift to execute the daily production schedule safely and efficiently.
